Visit to the Vandalur Zoo

…Another wonderful enclosure contained about 30 insanely huge marsh crocodiles in serene, limp, resting state. They clearly knocked off buffalo from the top ranking spot of my list of favorite animals. They were all lying belly down, arms to their sides with an aversion towards the very idea of locomotion. It was hard for me to digest the fact that the very same beings will snap my neck off the instant I went near them. They were so sedentary that they made it look like a work of art, a thing of beauty. Picture cannot capture my happiness at seeing my newfound role models, but we tried.
